We have had such a busy time here at Grinsheep. The warm weather allowed us to do lots dyeing of different fibres. Pictured here is “Wave” 100% mulberry silk . Anyone interested in embroidery may find this adds a little silky shimmer to your projects. 20 meters/65feet will be $5.72+gst. More colourways are available.

Have you ever thought of trying Rigid Heddle Weaving but can not commit a lot of time? 😊 I will be openning the studio on Saturday Sept 10, 2022 10 am -12 pm for you40 to come and give it a try. We will be using the Ashford Sampleit 40cm Loom. Looms will be warped and ready for and enjoyable creative experience,

We also have undyed mulberry silk and more undyed sock yarn (superwash 25%nylon) . There is also a selection of hand spun yarns. We of course carry many accessories to help you with any weaving, spinning, and felting project you many be wanting to try or are working on.
