We have managed to make it thru another west coast wet winter oh my!! It was wet indeed. Spring has sprung at the farm. The babies have been arriving and if you stop by the shop you may just see a few new faces 😊 Well I think we are up to about 27. 😮
As the flowers start to pop up, the farms and shop chores continue. We have been busy in the creative dye kitchen and producing some fabulous skeins of sock wool and dyeing fibres to make into batts for our spinners. We are working hard preparing for a few up coming events!!!!
April 26 th, 2025 at 11 am -2pm, We will be holding a needle felting class here at the studio. We are going to be teaching the famous fox. It is so popular and requested often, sooo here we go again!!🦊 Please call and reserve your spot, or grab a friend and call in for a morning out.
May 10th, 2025 We are off to Arrowvale Farms in Port Alberni for their Sheep to Shawl day 10 am-3 pm. You will be able to see how the fleece is processed from the sheep to the wearable shawl. We will have some of our favorite products there for purchase and the Local guild will have some treasures too. Looking forward to getting back to this farm again and meet up with old friends and met new ones!!!
May 25th, 2025 we are off to the 100 Mile Fleece and Fibre Festival. This is always and good show. All the locals bring their specialties all to0 one place at the Bradley center.
