We have been very busy in the dye kitchen and at the mill. The kitchen has produced many colours of the rainbow plus more. We created lovely skeins of yarn on rings just for the little touch of flare to your project. Locks from our sheep for that spark of color. Core wool and spinning batts are also in stock.

YEAR OF THE SHEEP!
Coombs Fair Aug 9 and 10th we will be at the Coombs Fairgrounds to help celebrate the year of the sheep and bringing baaack the farm. We will have Ashford products and will be doing some demonstrations in drop spindle, weaving and needle felting. EWE will be able to give it a try. The ladies from the Thursday morning Bradley Spinners are next to the Grinsheep booth will be spinning on their wheels.
The Fair has expanded the Fibre Arts Section to encourage all of you creative artists. Crochet, knitting, weaving, spinning, felting….. all things Sheep The Fair books are located at Grinsheep, Feed stores, Tack stores and numerous other outlets around Oceanside. Get your entries in and keep this great little country fair a buzz. Ewe can do it. We just may have all the the supplies you need for your entries.
A bit of inside information to spread the word. There will be sheep dog demonstrations in the main ring. Inland Island Sheep Breeder will be in attendance and Garrett Jolicouer will be shearing sheep next to the sheep barn. Buggy displays, live music, food vendors and the Great Poultry show. A really big show you don’t want to miss.
