Wow We can not believe that the summer has gone by so fast! ANWG Conference was a great success. We were pleased to see so many familiar faces. We hope you enjoyed learning different techniques and getting project ideas, we sure did.
You may have seen us at the Coombs fair in August. We always like attending this community event. The 4H Wool Craft Club had a great demonstration booth. The Kids did an outstanding job on their projects. Congratulations! Job well Done!
We were down to Victoria to Fibrations on August 21, 2017. The weather cooperated we didn’t need to battened down the tent from the wild wind. Thanks to the organizers of this fine event.
Now here we are getting ready for fall classes. Check out our Workshop page. Marion Vandall is coming back to the studio to do needle felting classes in September (Ponies and apples) , October (Spooky boos and Lil’ Monsters) and November. (Field and Forrest) The November class you will be advancing your needle felting techniques. You will be creating a large red fox that was so popular last year.
Grinsheep will be again at the annual KingFisher Retreat On October 16,17,18, 2017 So the Shop will be closed during this time. I will be home the only for a short time to pack up and get ready for the Cowichan Fleece and Fibre Festival on October 21, 2017 at the Cobble Hill Community Hall. We will see you there.
